meet the Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads), another good paid traffic option!

Without a doubt one of the main ways to bring results to your online business faster is with paid traffic.

There are dozens of sources, the best known being Facebook ads, Google Ads (formerly Adwords), Taboola, among others.

Although they are good options, competition is very fierce for those starting.

Thinking about it, wouldn't it be nice to have a good alternative similar to Google Ads?

Know that it has been around for a long time in Brazil and is popularly known as Bing ads, but currently it has the name of Microsoft Advertising.

For those who still don't know, I'm going to make a brief presentation of this platform below.

The purpose of this article is to present the platform for those who do not know it, with its main features.

What is Microsoft Advertising (Bing ads)?

THE Microsoft Advertising is a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising platform generated on your ads, Bing search results and partners.

The Dashboard from where you will manage your campaigns is similar to Google Ads as you can see in the image below:

In general, you can learn to use the options in a few minutes if you already have experience in other similar platforms.

Although Google is the most used search engine on the planet, we can't rule out Bing, see just some numbers in Brazil:

  • 128 Million PC Searches Monthly
  • 10 million unique PC users
  • It has 10% of the PC search market
  • 62% of people search for products online and 46% use to discover new brands
  • Clicks can be 33.5% cheaper than on Google Ads (CPC).

In addition to the numbers above, we must remember that your ads will not only appear in Bing results, but also on Yahoo! and MSN.

Ad Types in Microsoft Advertising

Some types of existing ads are standard on paid ad platforms. At Microsoft Advertising we have:

Expanded text

This is the platform standard being that basic ad that offers the option of having 3 titles and 2 descriptions.

dynamic search

Being able to place up to 15 titles and 4 descriptions, combinations that bring more results will be generated, automatically optimizing your ad.

Application Installation

Boost your app downloads for those who search related to yours app on smartphone and tablets, with download button.

Multimedia

A recent innovation in Brazil offers the ability to place large images in your ads that will appear in Bing and partners results.

Remembering that you can also import your campaigns that are in your Google Ads account.

creating ads

Whether you're a beginner or not, on paid ad platforms, you won't have much trouble creating your first campaign. THE company itself explains how, but if you want to see a step-by-step video, just below we have one for those who are affiliated.

Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads for Affiliates

Hundreds of people daily search more about this alternative to Google Ads for whom work as an affiliate.

Even with few searches your target audience can be on Bing and you need to have a campaign running and have one more source of traffic to sell as an affiliate.

In the video below you can see the step by step for create your first affiliate campaign:

Hotmart's own platform also has a tutorial for you to create your own. UET tag and Conversion Target within your account.

Coupon for Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads)

The company doesn't give many details on how to purchase a coupon, but like others, you need to invest some money first on the platform and add a payment method as well.

We can use a prepaid card as the main form of payment or using the bank slip.

From my recent experience, if you have a website and recently added on Bing Webmaster Tools it may happen that you receive a coupon in your registered email.

As with Google Ads, after creating your account and leaving it idle for a few days it is very likely (not sure) who also receive an email with a code coupon for R$150.00 to create your first campaign.

Is it worth advertising on Microsoft Advertising?

It's very worthwhile, just like any source of paid traffic you need to evaluate and measure if it pays off for you, if it brings a positive return (ROI).

Watch the video below from Gianini also telling you if it's worth advertising on Bing ads (Microsoft Advertising):

I hope I helped you by presenting one more source of traffic for you to do your tests, either with your company or as an affiliate.
