People are always looking for ways to unlock content filters or parental controls, one of which is macOS Screen Time. In this article I will teach you how to bypass this content filter or prevent someone from doing so.

I recently discovered the location of the screen time or usage time in macOS folders. Fortunately, it is only possible to bypass the filter if you are using the computer as a system administrator.

Just access the following directory: / Library / Managed \\ Preferences/

In it you will find a folder with the name of users and inside the configuration files of the Time of Use or Screen Time. Now just delete the file com.apple.familycontrols.contentfilter.plist that the filter will possibly stop working.

So you can go back to browsing the sites that were blocked. Other files can probably unlock other filter settings. I believe this is only possible from an administrator's account.
